◇ The maison

We operate nineteen journeys a year, and decline roughly three hundred.

Mandarin Noir is a small house in Toronto and Hong Kong arranging private encounters with a country that, for most, remains behind glass. We do not publish a catalogue. We do not advertise a price. We correspond.

◇ From the directeur

Hana Cheng

Directeur · Toronto

“We read each letter we are sent. We decline roughly one in three, with care and without offence. What remains — what we accept — we commit to, fully, from the hour we agree a date to the car that brings you home from Pearson.”
